Podcast Series “Bad Batch”: Definitely Worth The Listen

Laura Beil is an award-winning investigative reporter who chronicled the infamous neurosurgeon Christopher Duntsch in the podcast “Dr. Death”. In this podcast series, “Bad Batch”, she tells the story of greed and deception that permeated the character of “John K.”, the charismatic founder of Liveyon. It describes how unsafe production of umbilical cord product marketed as “stem cells” cause serious injury to patients due to contaminated sourcing. The irony is that all of these “off-the-shelf” birth products have no live stem cells.
